for the 2024/25 off-kilter cabaret

ARTISTS WITH DISABILITIES may apply
Artists are asked to create a performance piece that is 5-10 minutes in length that speaks to the theme of this year’s Off-Kilter Cabaret - “Human Alchemy”.
The Human Body is a magical vessel – where has it taken you? Where do you want to go? The Human Body is endlessly diverse – there are no two alike. How do you connect with others? What does it mean to be able to transform, to evolve, to become? What happens when you mix disparate objects, sensations, or people together? What happens when someone enters a stage in front of an audience? Culturally? Biologically? Spiritually? Or at the level of quantum physics?!
These are just some ideas of how you could play with the theme “Human Alchemy”, please feel free to run with your own interpretation and allow it to inspire your proposal!
