For the first and only time Off-Leash Area created an interpretation of a pre-existing play, having been commissioned by a local college to take its students through the company's singular creation process. Instead of producing a post-modern ironical take on the classic American text, Off-Leash Area instead took as its challenge a direction where it would retain it's contemporary dance-theater-visual art aesthetic to magnify the small-town themes inherent in Wilder's timeless text.
