“The Picnic” follows the relationship between two mismatched companions, a fastidious Bird and a rambunctious Dog, who meet in a city park and fall in love. The Bird and Dog are brought to life by two dancer-actors, while an eccentric and cosmic Parks and Recreation groundskeeper paints a fantastical and ever-evolving seasonal landscape around them.
