| ZAP! KUNST! or PRESTO!
IT'S ART! 2000, 2003 "ZAP! KUNST! or PRESTO! IT'S ART!" is a raucous lampoon of the performing arts as told through the lives of internationally unknown performance artists Arthur Zimmerman and Zelda Aufgehefferstadt, a Cold War Romeo & Juliet, who triumph over adversity (and a lack of any real talent!) to conquer of the world stage! |

| Arthur Zimmerman and Zelda Aufgehefferstadt grow up in East and West Bavaria as the children of artistically inclined farm families. Yearning to escape the stifling confines of rural life, they set off for East & West Berlin, meet and court through an exchange of notes tossed over the wall, which they proceed to break down in a fit of creative passion. They then set off to find fame and fortune, auditioning for every show imaginable, always failing miserably, but always hopeful for that big break. Finally, in a simultaneous brainstorm, they invent an art form that requires of them no talent whatsoever, and become the world's preeminent internationally unknown performance artists, catapulting them to global anonymity, and conquering the world stage! | ||||||||||||
